OBELISK
OBELISK ist eine Effekt-Software, die man als Plugin in allen gängigen Audio-Programmen nutzen kann. Die Herausforderung war es, ein visuelles System zu entwickeln, das sich uneingeschränkt auf alle zukünftigen - komplexen wie simplen - Plugins anwenden läßt und gleichzeitig deren Unterscheidbarkeit gewährleistet. Weit über die grafische Gestaltung der Oberfläche hinaus ging es hierbei primär um Funktionalität, Benutzerfreundlichkeit, logische Geschlossenheit und vor allem um Unverwechselbarkeit gegenüber der vielfältigen Konkurrenz. √		OBELISK is an effect-software that you can use with any common audio-software. The challenge was to create a visual system which could easily be applied to all future - complex as well as simple - plugins and would guarantee their distinguishability at the same time. Far beyond designing the graphic surface, this job was about functionality, ease of use, logical closeness and foremost standing out from the versatile competition. √

FARBSYSTEM UND RASTER		COLOUR-SCHEME AND GRID
Das für die Übersichtlichkeit im "Analyser-Fenster" entwickelte Farbschema aus 5 starken Farben (+ Orange) und deren Abstufungen auf dunklem Grau erlaubt unserem Kunden, die Gestaltung seiner zukünftigen Programme eigenständig zu variieren. Desweiteren gibt es eine "an"-Farbe, eine "aus"-Farbe, sowie eine "Skelett"-Farbe. Die komplette Richtlinie bezieht ein stringentes Raster mit ein, welches einen aufgeräumten Eindruck gewährleistet und die Möglichkeit bietet, die Elemente flexibel anzuordnen. √		The colour-scheme was developped for clarity inside the "analyzer-window". It consists of 5 strong colours (+ orange) and their shades of dark grey, and allows our client to vary his future program's design independently. Furthermore there is an "on"-colour, an "off"-colour, as well as a "skeleton"-colour. The entire guideline includes a strict grid which assures a cheerful impression and makes it possible to flexibly arrange the elements. √

ARTIFICIAL VERDANA
Damit die Schrift perfekt läuft, haben wir das True-Type-Hinting der Verdana so manipuliert, dass ohne Anti-Aliasing jeder buchstabe immer genau 1 Pixel Abstand zum nächsten hat. √		In order to ensure that the type runs perfectly, we manipulated the true-type-hinting of Verdana, so that each letter has precisely 1 pixel distance to the next. √

Die Gestaltung des GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE haben wir dann konsequent auf die WEBSEITE übertragen, bis hin zum SHOP, über den die Software online vertrieben wird. √		We deliberately translated the GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE into the WEBSITE and online SHOP, where the software is distributed. √
